Green Paint-decorated Side Chair, probably Maryland, early 19th century, the rectangular tablet above turned stiles joined to the plank seat by shaped elements with applied concentrically turned bosses, the seats with rounded side and front rails, on turned legs, allover green surface with foliate and other designs in yellow and red, (paint wear),ht. 30, seat ht. 15 1/2 in.
