Chippendale Carved Mahogany Chest of Drawers, New York, c. 1760-80, molded top with swelled front on a conformingly shaped cockbeaded case of four graduated drawers, with gadrooned lower front molding above carved claw-and-ball feet, refinished, ht. 35, case wd. 36 3/4, case dp. 24 in.

Refinished, replaced brasses, second drawer has a large patch in the front in the area of the lock, top has scuffs, some shrinkage cracks in sides, two legs need regluing.
