Turned Armchair, probably Massachusetts, late 17th century, stiles and arm supports incorporating vase turnings, double stretcher base, (imperfections and height loss),ht. 41 1/2, seat ht. 14 3/4 in.

legs missing 3-4 inches; long ago there was an added element to the top of finials (perhaps used to cover the spindles with upholstery),which is now gone.
