Condition: Patch reinforcement, retouch, paint losses, craquelure, canvas deformation, surface grime.

The work is overpainted with spandrels providing the round format for the still life. This may be a later addition or an afterthought of the painter, because the canvas is painted all the way to the tacking edges, as if with a continuation of the composition. The motif along the very bottom resembles a rug or fabric design.
