Louis XIV-style Ormolu-mounted Amaranth and Tulipwood-veneered Long Case Clock, France, late 19th/early 20th century, the stand after a model by Jean Henry Riesener, the roman numeral dial marked Jacques Almar, eight-day countwheel strike mechanism marked "E. Kahn France" and surrounded by cavorting putti, ht. 90 1/4, wd. 20, dp. 12 1/4 in.

Winding and case keys, dial replaced, mechanism altered, section of metal side molding missing.
