Six Meissen Porcelain Motto Figures, England, late 19th/early 20th century, each with gilded trim and polychrome enamel decorated, modeled in varying poses with inscribed titles below, underglaze crossed swords marks, ht. 4 7/8 to 5 1/2 in.
Je les balance: Restored bow; break and simple glue to back of cloth.
Je les rends legers: Missing the heart at the end of the stick; edge chip to cloth.
Je decouvre tout: A wing restored at join.
Je blesse et soulage: Repairs to a wing, tip of arrow, and gilt trim touched up along base. Handle of ewer missing.
Les de vaincre je me repose: Feathers to bows in quiver missing.
Je les dompte: Mirror repaired; slight chip to a back edge of the base.
