Four George III Sterling Silver Candlesticks, Sheffield, 1786-87, George Ashforth & Co., maker, each with an urn-form sconce on a tapering stem terminating in flared, weighted foot with engraved armorial, ht. 11 3/8 in.

All with age-typical surface wear, minor pinprick dents, and a crudely scratched monogram to stem. One with restored break to stem below sconce and base protuding out from foot causing stick to stand crooked. One with lead-solder repair to lower foot joint and along joint in the same area. One bobeche with dent to edge (still sits well).
