Description:
Mary Catherine Knight Arts and Crafts Sterling Silver Plate, Massachusetts, c. 1906, with a grapevine motif to the outer and inner rim each with purple enameled accents, dia. 8 in., approx. 8.6 troy oz.
Estimate $700-900
In good overall condition with only light surface wear. Several enamel elements are lighter or not perfectly centered in the intended place- however most appear to be the manufacture rather than a chipped loss, one with slightly sharper delineation in the center may be a chipped loss (see images- overall very unobtrusive).
The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Condition requests can be obtained via email (lot inquiry button) or by telephone to the appropriate gallery location (Boston/617.350.5400 or Marlborough/508.970.3000). Any condition statement given, as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Skinner Inc. shall have no responsibility for any error or omission.
