Small mouthed, three-footed vessel finished with partial gray overglaze, artist's mark, ht. 7 3/8 in.
Provenance: Collection of Malcolm and Marjorie Wright.
Note: Mr. Russum, who was known as Russ, conducted the Baltimore Museum of Art ceramics workshop, and many of his students went on to establish the Potter's Guild and to gain national prominence in their own right. Mr. Russum's work is included in the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Smithsonian.
