Three Akan Goldweights, brass, antelopes with tubular bodies and long horns that touch the tail, ht. 1 to 1 1/2 in.
Provenance: Newman Collection, New Jersey; two purchased from J.J. Klejman, New York, October 1968; the larger of the three from Sotheby's, New York, May 14, 1981, Lot 194.
