U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol, c. 1842, walnut stock with two crisp cartouche marks on the left side, steel fittings, lock marked "U.S./R. JOHNSON/MIDDN CONN/1842," barrel breech marked "U.S./JH/P," barrel lg. 8 1/2, overall lg. 14 in.
Stock has a few dings and nicks but in overall very good condition with two crisp cartouche marks, steel is in good condition and is a plum color, the cock screw and cock are replacements, and the lock functions properly.
