Model 1816 U.S. Contract Flintlock Musket, c. 1829, walnut stock with a light cartouche mark on the left side, lock marked on the tail "1829/US" and in front of the hammer "L. POMEROY," marked on the barrel tang "1829" and "US/JM/P/CONN" on the left side of the breech, barrel lg. 42, overall lg. 57 3/4 in.

Stock has been refinished and has a crack near the barrel tang and lock plate, steel parts are in good condition and the lock functions properly.
