Remington Rolling Block Rifle, c. 1875-90, serial number 9320, .38 extra long caliber, blued octagonal barrel marked "E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y.," and "38 EXL" on the bottom, case hardened lock, walnut stock, (missing vernier sight on tang),barrel lg. 34 1/4, overall lg. 49 7/8 in.

Barrel oxidized but with about 50% blueing intact, action is smooth; receiver, trigger guard, and butt plate oxidized; stock with minor dings and dents, rifling intact with moderate pitting at breech and muzzle.
