The auction includes over 40 pieces from the Rabinovic Collection of 18th and early 19th century Anatolian village rugs. In addition, the sale features a number of notable Central Asian embroideries including an early Tekke wedding trapping, a complete 17th century Chinese carpet, some excellent pre-1860 Caucasian rugs, many 19th century Persian urban workshop rugs in excellent condition, and over 70 antique decorative carpets.
