Gregg & Rupp Vernier Surveyor's Compass, William T. Gregg and Michael Rupp, New York, second half 19th century, 5-in. silvered dial with floral engraved center wreath, fleur-de-lis representing north, dual spirit levels, and fine adjustment knob, housed in the original mahogany box, lg. 15 in.
