Rider and Horse in a Desert Country (Wallachian Peasant)
Signed and dated "Ad Schreyer/1860" l.r., titled on a presentation plaque and on a label from D. Matt Hand Carved Picture Frames, New York, affixed to the back of the frame, inscribed "Kimbel Collection" and numbered "4995" on unattributed labels affixed to the reverse.
Oil on panel, 9 1/2 x 7 in. (24.6 x 17.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Surface grime.
