Attributed to Gerard Melder (Dutch, 1693-1754),The Banks of the Rhine, unsigned, attributed on a painted presentation scroll on the mat and on a label affixed to the frame backing, watercolor on paper, sheet size 7 1/8 x 9 3/8 in. (18.2 x 23.8 cm); Dirk Langendyk (Dutch, 1748-1805),Aftermath of a Battle, signed and dated "D. Langendyk inv & fecit 1793" l.l., brown and black ink and wash on paper, sight size 6 x 9 1/4 in. (15.0 x 23.5 cm).
Condition: Rhine with fox marks to sky, Battle with staining to sky, not examined out of frames.
