Wedgwood Encaustic Decorated Black Basalt Sugar Bowl and Cover, England, early 19th century, squat form with loop handles, decorated in iron red and white with florets between drapery swags, impressed mark, dia. 4 5/8 in.

Very slight rim nick to cover. No other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations throughout.
