When the frame of "Carmen" was opened, the work was found to be laid down on a light weight mat board support. The sheet size is approximately 10 1/8 x 15 1/8 in. (26.0 x 38.5 cm). There is pale toning overall and acid burn to the edges of the sheet. The matting appears to be archival.
