Condition: Scattered abrasions and paint losses, surface grime.
Estimate $1,500-2,500
Multiple small losses overall, among them the two largest measuring 3/8 inches across located at the center right edge in the leaves, a loss measuring 1/4 inch in the lower right corner, and a loss measuring 3/16 inch in the upper center in the palm tree branches. A very fine vertical broken line of abrasion on the center left side, running through the back of the toucan and measuring 9 inches overall. A cluster of smaller abrasions to u.r. corner. There is a mottled, uneven quality to the paint in the sky, some of which fluoresces under uv light, but to our eye is not retouch from a later hand but some different quality of paint the artist used there. An mottled area that look like oil spots to the center area of sky. Overall the surfaces are somewhat roughly painted but seem to be stable.
