Three Pieces of Irish Sterling Silver Tableware, two pairs of tea/sugar tongs: one with floriform motif to center, maker's mark "SW," the other with engraved monogram to one side and crest to other, lacking maker's mark; and a small dish with engraved monogram to center, 1810-11, Gustavus Byrne, maker, dia. 4 1/4 in., approx. 4.5 troy oz. total.
Tong with floriform joint with repair to one tine, joint is tight and closes well with only slight shift to one side (see images). Other tongs with slightly loose joint (still closes well and grips align well naturally but can easily shift to one side), finger loops bent. Dish with engraving removal/re-engraving to center (surface slightly thinner), scattered pinprick dents.
