Grand Tour Micromosaic and Specimen Table with Eastlake-style Base, Italy, probably Rome, 19th century, round molded top inlaid with centralized tesserae scene of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome surrounded by assorted colored marbles and a geometric chain at perimeter, supported on an Eastlake-style ebonized and gilded pedestal highlighted by carved grotesque animal monopodia extending to a tripartite base supported on paw feet, ht. 30 7/8, dia. 24 1/4 in.
