Pair of Meissen Porcelain Figural Dishes, Germany, late 19th/early 20th century, white ground with gilding, each holding a serpentine-rimmed ovoid dish on scrolling base, factory marks to underside, one depicting a man, ht. 7 3/4, wd. 10 1/2, dp. 9; the other a woman, ht. 6 3/4, wd. 12, dp. 7 1/2 in.
Estimate $800-1,200

Each with small scattered typical edge chips to applied florets on bowls; the man with part of ribbon missing to backj of man's hair; several small footrim chips.
