Description:

George III Sterling Silver Two-handled Caudle Cup, London, 1769-70, maker's mark "I*M" possibly for Jacob Marsh, ht. 4 1/4 in., approx. 7.3 troy oz.
Estimate $200-300

Lower joints to handles pushed into body on either side. Engraving removal to vacant cartouche. Possible restoration along rim and band to shoulder (areas of rough silver solder, showing age, all unobtrusive). Surface wear.
