Italian .800 Silver Center Bowl and Stand, Milan, second quarter 20th century, registry number 245 for Le Argenterie di Milano di Fiorentini Guido, maker, with two scrolled acanthus-capped handles and a lobed body with two mermaids perched on either side, lg. 29, approx. 292.8 troy oz., on a lobed base with inset onyx base, lg. 24 in.
In good overall condition with light surface wear, few minor pinprick dents and abrasions. Onyx with several small chips to edge were brackets hold panel in place.
