Orbital panorama of the lunar horizon over the Bay of Rainbows, Apollo 15, August 1971. Numbered 'NASA AS15-93-12705,' 'NASA AS15-93-12703,' and 'NASA AS15-93-12702' in red on the recto upper margins. Mosaic of three vintage chromogenic prints on fiber-based Kodak paper with 'A Kodak Paper' watermark on the verso, image size 8 1/4 x 19 1/2 in. (20.8 x 49.4 cm), unmatted.
Condition: Matte areas on surface of print on left.

N.B. This telephoto panoramic view was taken with the 250mm lens during the 71st revolution of Endeavor around the Moon. On the horizon, the Bay of Rainbows, located at the North West rim of the Sea of Showers, was the landing site of the first Chinese Lunar Lander Chang'e 3 in December 2013.
