Note: Fernández Larrañaga trained in Uruguay with Pedro Cantú and Severino Posse, and then in Buenos Aires with Oliva Navarro. In his native city he collaborated with the sculptor José Belloni on important monuments and sculptural groups. Installed in Tucumán, the artist also taught at the Sarmiento School, and at the Lillo Institute he worked on fossil reconstruction. He obtained many distinctions for Head of a Woman, Trini, Torso, Nude, Dominguito, Desamparados, La curiosa, Criollita, and Piedad. Reference: La Gaceta.
