Another interesting Skinner auction will coincide with the ABAA book fair in Boston on November 12th, 2017. Original Sam Houston, Robert E. Lee and Louisa May Alcott manuscript material will begin the sale, followed by a few hundred lots of rare books, including manuscripts, incunabula, early books, and an interesting selection of books in the history of thought, medicine, psychology. Ornithology titles, signed presidential material, including several very good JFK lots, botanicals, posters, an archive of material related to William Randolph Hearst, along with decorative bindings, Audubon prints, maps, and more.
