Cherry Flat-top High Chest of Drawers, probably western Connecticut, c. 1740-50, with deeply molded cornice, and cutout skirt joining cabriole legs ending in carved trifid feet, original brass, old surface, ht. 70 3/4, lower case wd. 38 1/2, lower case dp. 19 in.

Provenance: Peter H. Eaton Antiques, Inc., Newbury, Massachusetts, to the current owner.
