2 3/4-inch Brass Universal Equinoctial Ring Dial, 18th/19th century, two concentric brass rings folding flat when not in use, front of the meridian ring calibrated 0-90, the reverse calibrated 0-90, and engraved with major cities and their latitudes, the equinoctial ring engraved with roman numeral hours on the front surface and cities and latitudes on the reverse, the central bridging bar with sliding peephole engraved with the months on one side, declination scale on the other, all suspended by a brass ring.
