Potts Surveyor's Vernier Compass, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 5 1/2-in. engraved silver dial with decorated eight-point rose, and fleur-de-lis representing north, raised central boss reading "W.L. Potts Bucks Pennsy," blued-steel needle, and outer ring calibrated 0-90 in four quadrants, single vial, vernier, and screw-mount sights, housed in the original fitted pine box with tripod mount, and brass plumb bob, lg. 14 1/2 in.
