Fletcher & Hunter Table Regulator, Edinburgh, Scotland, 1848, 10-in. dia. drum head raised on a tapering plinth with paneled front, and spirit level, hinged bezel opening to the silvered roman numeral engraved dial reading "Fletcher & Hunter/EDINR/A.D. 1848," subsidiary seconds, and date dials, four adjustable ball feet, and trap door underneath, single chain fusee movement with maintaining power, and deadbeat escapement, regulated by a cylindrical brass pendulum bob with shaped rod, ht. 16 in.

original silvering to the dial, original case lacquer, pendulum probably a replacement, ticks but does not keep running.
