Aesthetic Ebonized Fire Screen, probably England, late 19th century, with gilt highlights, rounded ears over rectangular screen with Christopher Dresser-style painted panel with lotus-type motif and overlay of curvate latticework on top and bottom, reverse with black and gold wallpaper, over a spindle frieze, on downswept end supports with stepped base, ht. 44 5/8, wd. 22 1/4 in.
