Viennese Silver-gilt and Enamel Clock, late 19th century, bearing maker's mark "_R" and French import marks, the circular clock face raised on a jeweled and enameled elephant further raised on an oval base, enameled throughout with mythological figural scenes, ht. 9 1/4 in.

Areas of profession restoration/over-painting to enamel. Final replaced. Gilding and enamel to elephant possibly re-worked or later. Clock hands bent slightly, lacking lower screw. (Not guaranteed to be in working order.)
