Viennese Silver-gilt Clock, late 19th century, unmarked, featuring an enameled Indian and ostrich with jeweled accents and a circular clock marked "Gilbert/A Paris," all on a lapis lazuli-mounted base, ht. 4 3/4 in.
Lapis base with stable cracks, possibly repaired. Enamel to indian and ostrich neck possibly redone or later addition. Clock face with chip around II, hands possibly replaced (movement not guaranteed to be in working order). Several pearl elements re-glued or replaced including one hanging from chain.
