Adams-style Mahogany Tester Bed, 19th century, pineapple finial atop turned fluted posts with swags and festoons, tapering to base, shaped paneled headboard, plain low end support rails, ht. 91, wd. 56 in.

Bed disassembles, finials detach from posts, headboard, side rails and footrails separate, is wobbly when put together. Headboard has a hairline crack in it with also evidence of restoration. Overall there are nicks, abrasions, some fading on headboard and signs of age-typical wear overall, particularly toward feet and side and foot rails. See photos.
