Continental Carved Walnut Grotto Chair, probably Italy, late 19th century, shell-form back and seat joined by open dolphin-motif arms, raised on highly carved legs with conch knees and splayed pad feet, ht. 35 3/4, wd. 24, dp. 25 in.
