Two Staffordshire White Salt-glazed Stoneware Items, England, c. 1745, each with paneled sides press-molded with grotesque figures, birds, animals, and coats of arms, a covered teapot, ht. 5 1/2, and cream jug, ht. 3 3/4 in.
Provenance: Teapot ex. Lomax collection.
Note: Arnold Mountford, on plate 98 in his book Staffordshire Salt-glazed Stoneware, attributes similar wares to Thomas and John Wedgwood of the Big House, Burslem.

Teapot: Cover with three slight rim chip; pot with 1/2" hairline to foot.
Creamer: In very good condition throughout.
