George II Sterling Silver Coffeepot, London, 1744-45, Richard Gurney & Co., maker, lid unmarked, typical form with urn-form finial and acanthus-capped spout, with later engraved monogram to body and underside of foot, ht. 9 1/4 in., approx. 21.3 troy oz.
In good overall condition, with only a few minor spots of silver rot to body, handle refinished with a couple small areas of wear to finish.
