Signed "Natkin" l.l. and on the reverse, titled on a label from the Cincinnati Art Museum affixed to the stretcher, inscribed "POINDEXTER/..." on the stretcher, with several unattributed inventory labels affixed to the stretcher.

Condition: Small area of fine craquelure u.l.

Provenance: Poindexter Gallery, New York; through to the current private Massachusetts collection.

The unattributed labels affixed to the stretcher include: "4607/x212," "F5694/NATKIN $9,000," ROBERT NATKIN/924 WEST END AVENUE/NEW YORK, NEW YORK," "523820/02, LC/Chicago," and "SPB/212."

There are additional areas of craquelure at lower left and lower right and scattered small accretions or varnish inconsistencies.
