Thomas Wentworth Eight-day tall Clock with Automaton in the Arch, Sarum (Salisbury),United Kingdom, c. 1800, cherry case with pierced fret top, and brass finials, fluted freestanding columns flank the arched and glazed hood door over the composite brass dial, the roman numeral chapter ring inscribed "Tho. Wentworth/Sarum," engraved center and blocked penny moon, moon's age and date apertures from previous use, the arch automaton with Eve reaching her hand out to Adam offering the forbidden fruit with the tick of the pendulum, amidst a backdrop of the Garden of Eden, tombstone-shaped door in the waist and base with simple bracket feet, eight-day time and strike movement with two weights and pendulum, ht. 90 in.

Numerous changes to the dial including a different chapter ring, added automaton arch and blocked functions for moon, moon's age and date, replaced fret and feet. Three finials, door key but no winding key.
