Three Mennonite Quilts, made near St. Jacob's, Waterloo County, Ontario, c. 1910-30, a "Double Irish Chain" pattern quilt compose of blue blocks bordered by red and yellow diamonds bordered by red and blue border; a "Double Four Patch" pattern quilt, composed of stylized roses against a green background bordered by two bands of printed cloth; and an "Eight Point Star" pattern quilt composed of red and yellow stars on a green background bordered by red cloth all within a wide blue border, lg. to 85, wd. to 80 in.
Note: All acquired from the same estate; the "Double Irish Chain" and the "Eight Point Star" pattern quilts are believed to have been made by the same seamstress.
