Hannah Currier Watercolor Memorial, possibly Amesbury, Massachusetts, c. 1817, central memorial below a large willow tree inscribed "IN MEMORY OF/MRS. HANNAH CURRIER./OBT. NOV. 19TH AET. 32 YRS," in a grassy and tree-lined landscape, gilt-gesso frame with ropetwist decoration and eglomise mat, ht. 13 1/4, wd. 13 1/4 in.

Note: Hannah Ingalls Currier was born in South Hampton, New Hampshire, in 1785. She married Nathaniel Currier of Roxbury, Massachusetts, in 1810. They had three children before Hannah's death on November 19, 1817, in Amesbury, Massachusetts.
