Titled, dated, and signed "August 1990. J Houston" l.r.
Pastel on paper, 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 in., framed and matted.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.

Note: James Houston, a writer and artist, was largely responsible for introducing Inuit art to museums and collectors worldwide. He was also a leading designer for Steuben Glass and is best known for such works as Trout and Fly, Arctic Fisherman, Ice Bear, and Excalibur.
