Painted Silk and Needlework Picture "Jeptha's Rash Vow," Misses Pattens' School, Hartford, Connecticut, c. 1810, Jeptha, depicted on the right beneath an embroidered tree stands on a silkwork ground with fence beyond, to the left appear his daughter and other women on a painted marble portico with silk drapery, eglomise mat, molded gilt-gesso frame, ht. 22 3/4, wd. 27 in.

Good overall condition, strong color. Two minor gesso losses on the frame.
