George II/III Oak Dressing Table, England, mid-18th century, top projection over a three beaded-drawer frieze highlighted by brass hardware, shaped apron, resting on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, ht. 29 1/4, wd. 31 3/4, dp. 17 3/4 in.
Provenance: Proceeds from the sale of the collections will be used by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, exclusively for the acquisition of art and antiques to be exhibited in its art museums and historic buildings.
Overall good condition with some age-typical wear including nicks, scuffs, some evidence of glue to underside/backside of apron where there are repairs and a patch.
