William and Mary Elm Trestle Table, England, late 17th/early 18th century, long rectangular top encircled with copper banding surmounting two shaped end supports joined by angled stretcher bars, resting on shoe feet, ht. 30 1/4, wd. 78 1/4, dp. 22 1/2 in.
Provenance: Proceeds from the sale of the collections will be used by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, exclusively for the acquisition of art and antiques to be exhibited in its art museums and historic buildings.

Age-typical wear overall to piece including scratches, divots, abrasions and splits on top, nicks and scuffs to supports and feet, banding is lifting in areas and there is a gap where there is no banding, about 2-3 inches wide. Whole table is canted. See photos.
