George I Oak High Chest, England, 18th century, molded cornice over upper case with two short over three long graduated cockbeaded drawers, on a later three-drawer frame highlighted by a shaped apron, on rounded legs with shaped slipper feet, ht. 53 7/8, wd. 33 5/8, dp. 21 1/2 in.
Provenance: Proceeds from the sale of the collections will be used by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, exclusively for the acquisition of art and antiques to be exhibited in its art museums and historic buildings.
