Italian Art Nouveau Carved Chair, early 20th century, frame in overall faux-bois style, centralized figural head crest surmounting a pierced crest rail over inverted clover-form splat, curvate open arms highlighted by carved figure head handholds, pierced apron with pendant vinework, knobbed knees over straight legs and shaped feet, ht. 43, wd. 23 1/4, dp. 22 1/2 in.

Age-typical wear overall including rubbing to carvings, some splits/gaps particularly to back, nicks, scuffs, separation of right side figural head carving from arm with some movement, wear to feet. Chair does not sit perfectly square on floor, wobbles a bit. See photos.
