Bassin Tuileries, Louvre
Signed "Jules R. Hervé" l.l. and on the reverse, titled on a label from Dominion Gallery, Montreal, affixed to the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 18 x 21 1/2 in. (46.0 x 55.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Fine craquelure, natural pigment fluorescence.
Estimate $1,000-1,500

The location of the scene is also inscribed on the stretcher as, "Paris - Bassin des E...eries, arc du Carrousel et le Louvre."

Canvas is slightly loose on the stretcher, leading to some subtle rippling. Stable craquelure mainly to u.l. quadrant. No other condition issues to report.
